I dumped enough that by the 2nd month I completed the sub, but I didn't get the sub credit until the 3rd month, which I still used the card for gas to use up the credit. starting from the 4th month, my spending dropped dramatically down to 3 small transactions at groceries stores per month only to get the $3 SYW points. Btw, are you subscribed to those sears and SYW emails? I'm wondering if I should unsubscribe from those emails. The only thing stopping me from unsubscribing is my fear that it would screw up my chances of getting offers so I put up with daily Sears and SYW email.
Yeah, like you, I put up with the deluge of 10% off appliances at Sears e-mails because there is no way I want to unsubscribe and risk missing a true offer. I do have to say, the constant Sears e-mails has dropped way down. Sad but that may be because my local Sears just closed shop, I think. Temecula CA mall. Good luck getting the offers. You may consider increasing your spending beyond the grocery 3000 points Mission to see what happens.

I've taken advantage of every offer until they threw a spend $2000 in 30 days for $70 (mid Dec to mid Jan). I could have done it if I put everything on the card including insurance and utilities but $2000 spend on 30d is asking too much.
