Surely, SQ must be working on something for the future. If the LX lounge is vacant, perhaps the space is up for grabs for a new Silverkris lounge. I wish I still lived in London, I loved the SQ lounge at LHR so much.
My wife is at the Air India lounge now and even she notes that it is really poor quality. She got a bag of crisps and a warm soda - not great. We used points for this flight, but she notes that if we'd paid real $$$, she'd be quite upset.

Incidentally, she got an email from SQ noting that the VS Clubhouse was closed for a few days for renovations. Not sure what's going on, and she wouldn't have had access anyway.
