I understand the jump of $18.00 from $52.00 to $70.00 is dramatic (and traumatic for some) However, amortize it over 10 years and it’s $1.80 a year! Over that time period air fares increased, hotel prices increased, clothing prices increased, food increased and pretty much everything else! I would venture to guess your salary increased too. Drivers have lived with all the aforementioned increases BUT salary! They deserve it.
