I vote no to cell phone use inflight. People are just too ignorant when using them.

but people may use this for VOIP to circumvent any cell phone restrictions.
I thought about that too. Maybe they could do some kind of packet delaying. Thus making the audio sound choppy.


No way, I think I heard you can set off a plastic explosive in the cargo bay with a signal from a cell phone


Cellular signals don't set off plastic explosives. The phone is used to trigger the detinator. The same could be done with garage door openers, pagers, and the innards of R/C toys.
