Agree with this, I think the real luxury of F is that the bed is so large and comfortable, you arrive with the jetlag already corrected (if you got good sleep and timed it well). The fancy meal is great and all, but the real novelty of it is that it's served on a plane, not that it's actually on par with absolute top restaurants on the ground. I'd rather get great sleep, arrive well adjusted, and then go to a fancy restaurant on the ground if I'm looking for that kind of dining experience (which Tokyo and Japan as a whole have no shortage of, and at relatively reasonable prices compared to the US).
