Fares are governed by fare rules. All other things being equal, fares increase when the lowest available fare buckets have been sold, the number of tickets needed is greater than the available inventory, or advance purchase period has expired.

Fares generally increase closer to departure due to above, but it's also route dependent. April departure is still far enough so need additional information. What's the routing?
