When googling this the best I get is that Alaska fares always get more expensive nearer departure as it is a "low cost airline" which I think is incorrect. Thought I'd reach out to this forum as a flight I'm looking at in April has just gone up by $70 so wondering if I should wait for a fare sale or bite the bullet now?
