Years ago, you could ask for an ice cream cup from the staff, who would then get it in the back. I guess that has long been discontinued?
I did not order the vegetarian curry but I assume it comes with rice. It any case, there is a self-serve rice cooker on the buffet outside next to the regular chicken curry.
Other vegetarian options at the order station include sansai (mountain vegetables) soba and kitsune (beancurd) soba. At the selfserve counters, vegetarian options include salad, inarizushi and omusubi.
