Some years ago when an Egypt Air pilot crashed his plane into the Atlantic Ocean the company simply went into denial and refused to accept the inquiry findings. Other pilots have done similar, the LH subsidiary flight where one pilot locked the other out of the cockpit and flew into mountains, for example. However, then the airline did accept the findings and presumably acted on them.

It demonstrates a fundamental lack of safety awareness and I would never fly on Egypt Air.
