Really sad to see how this hotel, which was one I always looked forward to staying in, has degraded in such a short space of time - perhaps some feedback to the GM may get him and his team to wake up to the reality of just how it is now perceived, but going on the impression I had when I last stayed there (which was "well the hotel is fully booked anyway so we're not really bothered"), I really don't know.

I too am heading to Tokyo in early Feb so will also book at The Strings as my experiences there have been pretty good - there's no point spending any money at a property which does not value your repeat custom.
