looking at flights on the Delta portal - seems in recent days they've opened up seat availability on AM flights.... but are charging more to book it through Delta instead of directly with AM....I'd like to use SkyMiles for some of them....so kind of limited to booking with Delta. Any thoughts? Obviously it's the same thing - ticketed as AM flights, not codeshare.

Also the cash price is $578, and I understood redeeming Miles for tickets was transferred at $0.01c per mile (without taxes/fees) so.... a $578 fare should be about 54,000 miles - but it's showing up as 84,000 miles instead.....

Any advice appreciated on how to make this work.
