I have a city premier account that is linked to my rewards Plus card as well. The rewards Plus card has 50,000 points that I have been told repeatedly I cannot transfer to travel partners, only JetBlue. However, for years I've been told that linking these cards accounts would allow me to transfer those points to travel partners because of the benefits of the premier. That's why I've kept the premier open. But still, online and by talking with Representatives they insist it cannot be done.
Similarly I have a thank you preferred card with a high amount of points that I also thought should be able to be transferred to travel partners because of the premiere that I have. Here too, I have been told that is not possible. So I have almost 87,000 points that I can only use for statement credit or to transfer to JetBlue.

Am I doing something wrong or missing something here? Also, the representatives even the account specialists seem completely unknowledgeable about the program. I cannot understand why that is. Is this typical?
