Some hotels at the more generous end of the spectrum will consider the dual power of FHR + Diamond and give a better upgrade than FHR or Diamond stand-alone. Other hotels at the stingier end of the spectrum such as WA BKK, if you book a suite, FHR+Diamond gives you no upgrade at all
