Oh wow, thanks for sharing this article. We stayed in there for 6 nights in 2018 and had a blast. I drove by a couple of times since then and was wondering when / if it might reopen. Looking for a quick beach getaway in Feb but 79k+ points per night is just too much. Cash rates are around $900 which would usually translate in a not so bad redemption, but I will pass.
