Of course they will. The free hotel offer is open to anyone who books a flight to HK (or Dubai, SF etc) on BA, so there is absolutely no problem with that. With the flight, you've paid your money and they have given you (e-)tickets. Once they've taken your cash then you have a contract. BA is still better off than it would be if the seat went to a BA Miles redeemer.
