First flights of the year for me—

UA2391 MCI-DEN B738 — the flight wasn’t full and we sat at the gate for several minutes with nobody boarding due to the light load. Crew talked in the galley and didn’t do PDBs.

UA604 DEN-SYR A319 — The Purser offered a choice of water, OJ or sparkling wine and offered to make mimosas.
