I’ve posted several times on this thread regarding a reservation in early January requiring one night (usually greater than $250) deposit triggering the AmEx resort credit with subsequent cancellation of the stay (sometimes the day after the resort credit posts) and refund by Hilton within 5 to 7 days and no clawback of AmEx resort credit. I’ve done it each year for the past 2 to 3 or 4 years, including approximately two weeks ago.
