My word for 1400€ would be 'reasonable' while 2000€ had become unsustainable and, for most, absurd. I think they've finally done a decent job of valuing it at a level where it will bring M&M more revenue without almost no potential of losing money on the deal and this is what business is about. It's only valuable to the member if it's being used with tickets (cha-ching!) and it brings solid cash to M&M if the member pays for it, but never uses it (cha-ching!).
