interesting. To me, from Jules Verne alone, it was pretty identifiable. After spending 30+ years in Japan it was dead easy. I imagine it is also popular in China, although I have had not had it there. Lots of other stuff, but octopus has always seemed more of Japanese thing. I clearly have a huge location bias though
