I've watched and
LOVED this show from episode one, but the only time the GA seemed mean was in the last episode (the Thanksgiving one hour show). He finally fessed up that he was lied to and gave away standbyseats to guys who claimed to be sodiers from Iraq before the women who got there before them.
I fly WN every other year when the CO fare out of IAH is so far out of line (
HUB tax) that the extra WN fare making IAH a connection makes the price reasonable. The last time I was sure that I was going to miss my flight because the WN flight was late arriving at HOU, and there was no way to get it back in the air in time to get to AUS for my CO flight.
Well, since I don't fly WN, I forgot that sometimes HOU is a stop, so most of the pax never exit, so we pushed back twenty minutes after the plane arrived, and I had enough time to have a drink at PC in Austin before going to the gate. Of course the interesting thing was when the guy issuing my boarding pass asked me how I got inside the terminal without a boarding pass. "Well, sir, I am connecting from a different airline, and you guys don't allow online checkin for int'l destinations."
BTW, one of the reasons I refuse to fly WN unless I have to (like the CO hub premium fares) is that the boarding line never gets
LONGER, only
WIDER. And then there are those newbie fliers
