Yep. I'm Chris. I reached out to Gary and Ben (onemileatatime) since I wanted as many people to get this as possible. I figured it's not really like an error fare, as this wasn't likely an error. Since they decided to switch planes ex-SFO, the standard availability that NH normally releases at 365 days just popped up automatically. I would guess 80% of the seats were gobbled up vs. NH just cancelling the fare availability.
