No Globalist recognition at check in but I mostly chalk this up to the staff being a bit clueless. I did ask about the welcome drink which was then explained as 2 drinks per room per day. Not sure why they call it a "welcome" drink since it is daily?
Laundry facilities at Hyatt House are a nice benefit which I am currently using. They were also able to assist in making reservations at some top rated sushiya. I highly recommend Miraku Yumeri izakaya which is only a few minutes walk from the property (no english menu and cash only but amazing food and local sake). Harry's Bar next door to Yumeri also has great whisky selection and a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast is decent enough and pretty much identical to Hyatt Centric Ginza, including the small portions.
Overall I would gladly return here. Kanazawa is a nice place.
I totally concur, I was here last weekend and the hotel was absolutely delightful. I am becoming a fan of the Centric brand. Centric Ginza has really found it's sense of place lately, too.
