For ewr to Las, yes I’ll waste 4 hours at ewr to maintain my F seat. I know that by taking that earlier flight, we will divert to ORD or Omaha or DFW and be stuck on the tarmac for 4 hours. So of course I prefer my F seat. I can sit in an empty gate and read or if there’s money, I can just eat or go shopping.

I wouldn’t even want an aisle seat in Y compared to my F seat. There’s just a huge difference between F and Y on a 2-class plane.
