if you see the screenshot, it looks like the bunny buns are $0.80 each so I’ll assume that $13 indeed covers the 12-ish bunny buns plus the fancier ovular plating. It probably takes 5 more minutes to plate Peking duck.
I doubt they are using pancakes. I tend to get Peking duck with my family because my family enjoys the duck in bun. I loved it as a child and now I prefer the duck alone the way I prefer caviar alone and not with the blini & egg. Of course my family prefers Chinese American restaurants with expected service so I can’t see coming here with my family; I just come here with my mother.
the reason why I think the non-bbq stuff is not good is because my mother took my sibling and their family there for supper and apparently nobody liked the food. The restaurant had sold out of the bbq.
the other thing is that imho duck and bbq is best eaten at the restaurant to maintain crispy skin. I’ll eat leftovers of course. I just think it’s not great for carryout. And I do a lot of carryout.
