In our case, the $275 was structured as $100 standard credit plus $150 bonus credit plus $25 welcome amenity (a bottle of wine and plate of "vegan cheese"). Was a bit silly that $25 of the $275 was consumed by the welcome amenity, as the offer was not advertised that way. Was not made clear until checkout, and I didn't want to argue.
Those two negatives aside, we really enjoyed the hotel and would highly recommend.
Did you manage to earn Hilton Honors points for your FHR booking? Hilton refuses to credit me, which is disappointing as I spent a fair amount on this stay.
I earned Hilton points on my FHR booking in Aug 2022. I assume you entered your Hilton loyalty number in the box at the time of the FHR booking? FYI, I have had a much better experience with the Hilton twitter team than the Hilton email team for resolutions, even for issues the email team couldn't resolve. It seems via email issues just get stuck in a revolving door.
