Thank you for making me aware of the fact you can find this deal on other airports like Montreal, Toronto, and ofc Calgary! I was able to get it issued (marketed) by BA -- ended up doing it thru Chase portal -- also from YYC, connecting in DFW & LHR both ways in late 2023 in J,A,A,A,A,J classes. It was the most air miles of the 4 cities for my mileage run+vacation . Expecting a whomping 59,470 eqm and 133,723 rdm as an AS MVPG 75k.
I saw it being slightly cheaper (what you paid) on AA but the redemption w/ Alaska is worse for that one (like 150/150% vs 250/450% LOL), so I paid a little extra, about 6606 cad, to book with BA code instead. Finally hitting top tier (100K) this year, holla! Stoked... it's hard as a leisure, not business, traveler.
