One thing to consider is the cost of converting your W fare or BA discounted J fare into a DONE4 or similar. I find that such fares from Australia are generally less expensive even that the point to point corporate discount J fares, and corp discounts often apply to the OneWorld Explorer fares as well. That way you get to chose the carrier and earn lots of SC's on the way. That is exactly what I do - convert company paid economy class (not even W ) into DCIR22 or DONE4 fares.
