They may be right on the MM program. I don't think they are. It may change or maybe it won't, time will tell, maybe a lot of time.

*should be* lifetime Plat" (emphasis mine). "Should", in that context, means "obligation", "duty", "correctness".
I am just asking WHY 3MM "should" be lifetime Platinum. You're the one making the assertion - why? Because it benefits your particular situation?
