Recent Stay in January 2023
I will be honest, I was not impressed with the Hythe when I visited last year. However it seems like things are improving and the staff are becoming more seasoned. I was very impressed with the level of service and attention to detail during our one night stay in Vail before we headed down further to the StR Aspen.
Did anyone else staying recently also receive a "The Hythe" Snow globe as an amenity in the room?
Marriott Bonv°y

Hotel / Property
Location: The Hythe is located approximately 5-10 minutes walking distance from the Lionshead Square where you can hop on the Eagle Bahn Gondola or the Born Free lift up the Mountains if you're into Winter Sports. Otherwise it's ideally located for walking around Vail and making good use of public transportation.
Atmosphere: Family friendly hotel with 2 outdoor fire pits and an indoor fireplace in the lobby. This property used to be the Marriott Vail before a $40m renovation and I have to say I loved my stay here even though we were not proactively upgraded as it was a full occupation weekend but the staff was lovely with the birthday charcuterie board and prosecco in the room on arrival.
Service: If not for the Housekeeping team waking us up at 8am, I would have said the service was excellent here throughout our stay for a Luxury collection hotel but I'm still partial to the more friendlier staff at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch.
Room: 2 Queen Beds on the 1st Level adjacent from the lobby.
