Who can access the Clubhouse?
Access to the Clubhouse is strictly for international Virgin Atlantic (VS) or Delta Air Lines (DL) flights only for the below passengers:.....
*When travelling on a Virgin Atlantic operated flight.

As mileshound mentioned above, the Virgin website is certainly not going to mention any priority pass access. However the C1 site clearly shows that JFK Clubhouse is part of the C1X lounge benefit. I don't think that's under debate. What is "open-ended" is the timing when card based access is allowed. For AmEx Platinum, the app, clearly shows that access is only from 5 am to 11 am (except on Wednesday when it shows 5 am to 1 am). What that would indicate is that if you try to access with the Platinum card in the evening, they are well within their rights to deny you access. However with C1 VX, there is no timing restriction mentioned, however there is a standard disclaimer that access to lounge i subject to capacity controls. So I guess what it boils down to is that in the evenings, if they have a lot of VS travelers (given the 3 evening flights), they will most likely deny access. However if its on a day when the VS elite traffic is less, do they still allow you to access the lounge or are they doing a "blanket" - we don't allow in the evening policy.
