NGO to lose non-stop flight to mainland U.S.

Delta Airlines' NGO-DTW flight, the only non-stop flight to the mainland U.S. from NGO, will end in March this year. Nagoya will not have a non-stop flight to the mainland U.S.

Delta Airlines suspended NGO-DTW in March 2020 and resumed NGO-DTW in April 2021 on a once-weekly basis. Delta Airlines increased NGO-DTW frequency to thrice weekly in October 2022 but the passenger load factor was lower than expected. Delta has stopped taking reservations for NGO-DTW flights for March and beyond and officially announced that Delta will suspend NGO-DTW flights indefinitely.
