Here now. Overall I'm pretty happy with the choice of staying here. My SNAs cleared about 5 days before my arrival, and I was even able to check in very early. I had emailed the hotel ahead of time, but they weren't able to confirm or even promise an early check in, however they did check me in early (about 8:30 AM... I lucked out).

The location is great, short walk to Tesco Express, Boots, M&S Foods, Starbucks, etc. Lots of little shops close by.

I took Heathrow Express to Paddington and then a short ~10 minute cab ride from Paddington to the hotel. I could have taken the Bakerloo line and walked a bit to the hotel, but it was really cold and didn't really pack a heavy enough jacket.

I have not experienced any of the issues reported upthread (keys, drain, etc.). My executive suite faces the courtyard, so can't comment on the noise at night.
