PHL currently has the only US carriers, Air Canada, BA and QR. Without an AA hub, you likely lose QR. BOS by comparison has EI, EK, LY, AF, BA, HA, IB, JL, KE, KL, LA, LH and more.

Sadly, I agree but every international flight I take out of NYC there are always seem to be Philly people in the premium cabin who drove there for either non-stop service, lower fares, or both. With the latter it is super-annoying to read all of these posts about "premium fares" in NYC when they are MUCH cheaper than flying into/out of Philly.

Also, for what it is worth, we also have Lufthansa-lite (aka Eurowings). Oh, and Aer Lingus returns in April! Now, I sure wish Air France would come back!
