This is our first trip since the pandemic and we're looking for a place in Tokyo to relax and adjust to the time before we depart for Korea. We are staying in Tokyo for 6 nights and have previously done many of the must do tourist things already, meaning that we don't mind just relaxing and going to a park.
We are trying to figure out if the Park Hyatt or Andaz is better for our trip as they seem like the 2 Hyatt hotels with the largest base room? We've read many things about the Park Hyatt and our reservations about it include how "dated" everyone says the rooms are. Also the location of the Park Hyatt, seems far away from some of the things my wife wants to visit (places around Ginza). Positives for the Park Hyatt include the club, where I hear the spa can be quite refreshing after a day of travel. Andaz seems nice, but right now I see very limited availability. We would have to try to reach out to our concierge to see if we could extend the room on points (since we do not want to use cash). The Andaz seems closer to what we may want to do in Tokyo.
Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations? We are Hyatt globalists if that matters (without any upgrades).
Please note that the club is not a club lounge. It's just the name for the pool, fitness center, and spa complex.
