Maybe romantic could be a good restaurant in the hotel you are staying in (more time together). In that case I would recommend the Die Port Van Cleve (http://www.dieportvancleve.com/index.htm) and their restaurant De Poort, where they serve numbered steaks counting from their first in 1873. (I'm personally a vegetarian but I stand by my suggestion). It's a decent 4* hotel adjacent to the Magna Plaza across from Dam Square.
