I am not averse to using public transport (I only used the bus and subway with my metro pass) but after a 7 hour flight with two bags it's not always the most convenient method.

Plus the nearest station to my hotel dosen't have step free access from street to platform

I wasn't objecting to the increase per se but the large single increase.
