Most of my recent departures from T5 have been late afternoon or evening, and I have rarely had to wait more than 5 minutes. There was one occasion where the queue snaked back to the scanners and it took around 15 minutes. 15 minutes would be annoying if it became the norm, but in my experience FW is security is usually very quick.
