I think I must have been subliminally aware of that, but certainly not actively! And in the past I must have used space releases unnecessarily, although never had a GGL agent point that out to me.

If there isn't A-class availability, presumably one can ask to use the space release to free up an F-class seat, but what are the chances of success?
