but that new upcoming Hyatt property is a mere pimple of a property compared to massive eco system like the MGM portfolio.
Which needs tons of revenue to keep the big wheels of its machine turning.
And the location of the new Hyatt property is a big meh back from the strip

Back when Rio was actually a decent choice decades ago Vegas wasn't as congested and traffic clogged as it is today.Other than selling rooms
There was a day when mostly Caesars Palace The Sands The Desert Inn & MGM were the big deals and traffic flowed up and down the street with ease.
The less premium seeking guests were at the Frontier the Aladdin,Riviera or perhaps Downtown.When life was a whole lot simpler and easier (sigh)
