Briggs and Riley irritated me with their warranty two years ago. A piece of full size baseline had the bottom handle break off-it was plastic and used for leverage when lifting the bag on a bed or table. The handle cracked in half. Sent it in and they returned it simply by removing the handle in full-not replacing it. Their response "we don't make it with that handle anymore". OK-so then this bad just loses that feature? Yup.
That's a shame. I love my B&R baseline, but i didn't buy it for their warranty or customer service. That's why I purchased a full set of replacement wheels and a top handle when I purchased it. I at least take 2 replacement wheels (both sizes) with me when I'm traveling extensively and need to check the bag.
