Briggs and Riley irritated me with their warranty two years ago. A piece of full size baseline had the bottom handle break off-it was plastic and used for leverage when lifting the bag on a bed or table. The handle cracked in half. Sent it in and they returned it simply by removing the handle in full-not replacing it. Their response "we don't make it with that handle anymore". OK-so then this bad just loses that feature? Yup.
Totally agree - had a really bad warranty experience (documented on FT) where damaged bag was sent back unrepaired, and after a lot of back and forth, they basically said we're discontinuing the line and maybe if we have one we'll replace it, but of course that never happened.
I still think their bags are some of the best made, but I'm no longer an outspoken fan!
