It's fine when they oversell by 1-2. It's when they oversold by 40 on a cruise day flight when there's a problem. SW refuses to increase their compensation for the severity of the delay or oversell. It's a flat $200 + one-way fare, regardless of the damage involved.
2 hour delay: $200. Next day and you're on your own for hotel: $200. Simply ridiculous.
