I would not expect them to reduce Helsinki beyond what they have in the winter schedule, the question is if they are going to increase, as you have to have a Saturday departure added. I would expect that you get reaccommodated on AY or JAL earlier or later if the Saturday is not added. Decide what your preference is, and be ready to ask for it should your flight be cancelled.
Why would they downgrade you for your connection?
I am happy to reroute via Hel or LHR or even CDG if timing is sensible, or even fly out a day early. The OW flights look very full though on 24 and 25 March especially from LHR.
The return flight was originally Hnd Hel Dub both legs in J, but when rerouted to Hnd LHR Dub, only Y can be offered on last leg on BA. Guess its ok so long as lounge access is available under OW rule.
