Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked Standard Room, received Deluxe Twin, then moved to Club Deluxe Twin due to room issue

How are the rooms?
The room was spacious, clean, and with plenty of outlets. Being a corner room it had view of the entire Kobe downtown and harbor. The Deluxe Twin we initially received had cigarette smell so we were moved to Club Deluxe Twin (which are all non-smoking). Both rooms seem very similar just on different floors.

How is the exec. lounge?
Didn't make use of.

What was good and what was bad?
The good:
- Staff was helpful especially in resolving the cigarette smell issue
- Location with convenient, just above Shin-Kobe and one stop to Sannomiya
- Room was clean and had plenty power outlets
- Breakfast was excellent and the akashiyaki was very tasty. They even provided special grapes for elite members

The bad:
- Air in the room felt somewhat stuffy
- Wi-Fi is not encrypted

The ugly:
- Not a smoke-free hotel, and guests might need to stay in smoking room if non-smoking rooms are full (according to hotel FAQ)
