Many of us assumed that because when it transferred to Marriott, it showed up on the le-meridien.marriott.com website, on the worldwide directory there for the chain.

To be clear, it was never branded as a Le Meridien, it just showed up among their hotels.

It has since been removed from that directory, so maybe they rethought the potential Le Meridien branding.
