What you desire is actually possible if you have a mac and the".mac" service plan. It is actually just as easy as you describe - I do it. You keep an "iDisk" folder on your desktop and stick in whatever photos you want, and then you can set it to automatically sycnchronize with your .mac hosted web page. Brilliant design and elegantly simple!!
