Best and only option I can think of is AUP (airport upgrade promotion). Basically a cash upgrade at the airport at check in desk. If there are free seats in the desired cabin, you’ll get given a price if you ask. This price can range from a really good deal to absolutely bonkers. You can do these no matter who sold the ticket…funny because you can’t pay for an upgrade on AA with a BA issued 125 ticket.
