Frustrating JAL and its cancellation gimmicks
So I have award bookings on JAL 3 and JAL 5 on April 9 and April 22. Bookings are made with AA. I have seen this before, they stopped selling the flights and will not restart before May 29, 2023. Yet they are not cancelling this at the moment just stopped selling them. When you call them they say the flight is still on schedule and obviously AA can't do anything.

They will then cancel this a few days before the flight takes off and obviously there will be very limited options to change then. Kind of unfair gimmicks
