While it may not always seem intuitive, lounge access often comes down to operating carrier rather than marketing carrier for a flight. You can enter a DL Sky Club with an Amex Plat card and a same day DL operated flight that is marketed by a partner, but not a DL marketed flight that is partner operated (with the exception of WestJet flights).
