I canceled an award ticket that was originally booked for travel on December 25th. I received an e-mail confirmation indicating everything would be refunded (it was a flexible award ticket - cancelled a few days before the travel date). It's been almost a month and my miles still haven't been refunded (nor has the taxes/fees). I think the e-mail confirmation indicated it could take 5-7 business days but I recall a pop-up screen stating something like up to 4-6 weeks (not 100% sure since this isn't in the email). Should i be worried or are cancellation refunds just taking a long time?
